NICE TO MEET YOU

Meet Sharmila, Founder of Integration Health + Education

I'm Sharmila Kulkarni,  Physiotherapist, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Clinical Educator, and the founder of Integration, an organization dedicated to advancing continuing education through dialogue, movement, and connection.

With an extensive clinical background rooted in hands-on care, I bring my unique lens to education, focusing on practical, movement-based approaches that empower practitioners to adapt to the evolving needs of their patients.

My work is driven by a passion for creating inclusive, thoughtful learning spaces—whether addressing women’s health, men’s health, aging, or complex clinical mechanics.

Through Integration, I now have the opportunity to foster community, highlight excellence in our field, and support practitioners in delivering care that is evidence-informed, patient-centred, effective and fulfilling.

"Thank you Sharmila for organizing such fun, informative opportunities to learn with our Peers. I'm using my new knowledge in practice already!"

- Andrea L

"Sharmila, you were a fantastic 'host'. I truly appreciated your attention to small details and options for snacks and drinks. Thank you! I will be back."

- Lisa H

"Thank you Sharmila for organizing this weekend course, bringing back Dr. T. Bezilla. It was a wonderful weekend for professional development and reconnection to the professional community. Well done!"

The Inspiration for Integration

"When you work one on one with your patients, even if you work in a multi-practitioner setting, you could pass the whole day without chatting with your colleagues. I realized that if I felt isolated and in need of a professional community, perhaps my colleagues felt the same. So I launched Integration to provide exceptional learning opportunities while growing a collaborative, supportive professional community."
