About This Course

The cranial-sacral system plays an integral role in overall health, and knowing how to assess it and provide manual therapy to facilitate correction of imbalances is critical to maximizing treatment outcomes.

This course delivers safe, effective, and efficient cranial-sacral assessment and treatment methods through a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice with guidance. 

Visual, oral, and manual teaching methods are used throughout, making this course accessible whether you are new to cranial-sacral work or building on existing skills.

Learning Outcomes


Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will be able to:

  • Understand the potential role of the cranial-sacral system in health
  • Describe the anatomy of the transverse fascial planes and diaphragm areas of the body
  • Demonstrate technique applications to facilitate correction of dysfunctional patterns as they relate to the cranial-sacral system
  • Improve their sensitivity and sense of touch in manual therapy assessment
  • Apply functional anatomy of the face and jaw as it relates to the cranial-sacral system
  • Demonstrate a protocol of evaluation for the face and jaw as it relates to the spheno-basilar patterns of the cranial vault
  • Explore intra-oral assessment and treatment as it relates to the spheno-basilar patterns of the cranial vault
